As I told you, I’ll be at a TESOL conference in Seattle, so Rachael will be subbing. Therefore, I’m posting up class lessons today. It is possible these will change . . . but this is the plan.

It was really, really great to get to know all of you over the last month (or two or three). I love the diversity of this classroom – in cultural background, language, life experience, career knowledge (great presentations!), future ambitions. . . We’re going to be walking around outside for about 1-2 hours, so dress comfortably! Also, we’re going to have lunch together at Philippe The Original @ 12:30pm. So maybe just bring a light post-quiz snack to tide you over.

Next Thursday, March 23rd is the last day of the Winter term! We’re going to celebrate!

  • First period on Thursday (9:00am-10:45am): Student-Led Culture Day
    • Students will present on their own culture (cultural traditions in their native country, holidays, fashion, food, music. . . anything!).
    • Share your culture! Do you want to present? Let me know (ASAP!). You can present in groups, too. Extra credit will be given for volunteering!
